Meet Molly Sweets, our Tessitura Administrator! Learn about Molly's role at the Theatre, her favorite production, and a few Indy recommendations in our staff Q&A: 

​How long have you worked at the IRT?

What does a typical day look like for you? What do you enjoy most about working in your department?
I’m the Tessitura Administrator, which means that I’m the one in charge of our ticketing and development software. I build all of our performances and packages in the system (and a lot more!). I also manage the relationship between the IRT and Tessitura Network, as well as any 3rd party vendors in connection to it, and am responsible for system updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting.


Do you have a favorite show you’ve seen at the IRT?
The 39 Steps – I saw it four times and loved it more each time.

Favorite Indy restaurant, place to visit, or thing to do?
Kasai Sushi Bar for sushi, Tsaocaa for bubble tea, and Jockamo’s for pizza. I also love Flix Brewhouse for movies and Saltire Games for board games.

What’s one helpful tip you’d offer someone coming to the IRT for the first time?
Theatre should be accessible for anyone. If you have questions, our ticket office staff is amazing. We want you to have the best experience possible. Whether you need a large print program, a wide seat chair, or a steadying hand getting into the theatre, they can make it happen!
