![]() Chris Ballard, Tom Griswold, Shakespeare, and more share virtual stage for Indiana Repertory Theatre’s Celebrity Radio Show IRT’s annual fundraiser and silent auction moves to March and brings the laughter Indianapolis, Ind.—The IRT’s Celebrity Radio Show, presented by Printing Partners, will go virtual on March 12, 2021 at 7:30 pm, along with the silent auction. Basketball and the Bard combine for this year’s show, Shakespeare, Thou Art on Mute, which will bring new meaning to a 3-on-3 tournament as local celebrities team up for their best renditions of Shakespeare. Tickets are $30 per household for this night of entertainment and laughter for a good cause—supporting and uplifting the IRT’s mission in the community. “Each year, our goal is to make the Celebrity Radio Show the funniest one-night event in Indy,” Radio Show Playwright and IRT Board Member Ron Gifford said. “It’s great fun coming up with goofy plots and silly bits about local happenings, but the real magic happens when our civic and business ‘celebrities’ take the stage, embrace the silliness, and have a great time with the audience.” In addition to the jingle-singing torts, the cast welcomes back Chris Ballard from the Indianapolis Colts, Tom Griswold from The Bob & Tom Show, Angela Smith Jones from Health & Hospital Corporation, and Marianne Glick of Glick Art, along with new faces including Chef Abbi Merriss of Bluebeard, Wildstyle Paschall of CICF, Chairman Emeritus, Eli Lilly and Company John Lechleiter, community volunteer Sarah Lechleiter, and more! For a full cast list, please visit here. For attendees wanting to add a little extra celebration to their big night in, the IRT is offering Party Packs for $100 filled with local goods from Just Pop In!, Hotel Tango, The Best Chocolate in Town, along with other festive treats for the evening. “In this year, when we have had to find new ways to serve our community, patron support means more than ever,” Director of Development Jennifer Turner said. “We look forward to sharing Celebrity Radio Show on March 12 and encourage community members to join for the fun and to help IRT continue the mission of providing world-class theatre to Indiana audiences.” The silent auction will open for bidding on March 8 and access is included in the ticket purchase. Money raised from the event goes toward the IRT and its programming.
